Who are we?
We are "The Wetlab company"
Wetlab is dedicated to hands on surgical training development and assessment, working closely with industry and National health service hospitals in Britain and Ireland together with the SCTS university.
With over 10 years experience of supplying our award winning Wetlab services, we know what is required to make an event not only successful and memorable but a great opportunity to truly develop a delegate’s skills and knowledge.
Wetlab Ltd have quickly become renowned throughout the medical industry for what we do and for what we can provide.
What services do we provide?
Wetlab provide four main services
- National Wetlab Centre courses
- Wetlab Direct (Wetlab service direct to your hospital)
- Wetlab Remote (Wetlab equipment cases for purchase)
- Supplies i.e Instruments and tissue supply
Where are we based ?
Based in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England. Wetlab has now developed and expanded to become fully international providing products and services worldwide however most of our training events are held in Europe. Venues range from hospitals, training centres or any other venue of choice i.e hotels and exhibition centres.
When?
Whenever suits you best, let us know the date in mind as soon as possible and then all you have to do is get some colleagues together and let us know the topic.
Why?
We have four main customers. The patient, we want them to get the best treatment possible. The delegate, we also want the delegate to be the best that they can be through our hands on training. The Consultant, we understand that Consultants have to provide a certain amount of training and it is often difficult to find the time to fit it in, so Wetlab aim to make the process of organising and providing an event as easy and as stress free as possible.
The Industry, Wetlab work very closely with the medical industries to provide this service. We can provide Wetlabs on new products and let the surgeons try them out first hand.
Sales force training and product evaluation
Wetlab are able to facilitate hands on surgical training for your own sales staff enabling them to fully understand all the aspects of performing particular surgical procedures. Another very useful service is for company staff to try competitive products in a shoot-off evaluation situation allowing staff to understand the particular unique sales properties of your company products.
WETLAB Structured Education Courses
Wetlab Exclusive
These courses are exclusive and by invitation only, many of the events are tailor-made for specific requirements.
Wetlab Direct
This service involves us bringing a hand’s - on Wetlab training course to your hospital.
This service is usually provided free of charge to hospitals with thanks to the generous support of industry.
Delegate numbers are generally from 6 to 50.
Wetlab Direct Plus
This service is the same as the Wetlab direct but with the addition of keyspeakers this adds a different aspect to a Wetlab making it more formal for special occasions.
Wetlab Remote
This service is provided for very small numbers of delegates and where the Wetlab direct service is not possible.
Wetlab dispatch to the delegate a flight case containing instruments, gloves, aprons, lamp, disposable work stations etc., and even the tissue if required.
It is also possible to provide DVD discs and play back equipment enabling you to follow pre-determined Wetlab training.
Wetlab Users Group
Members of the users group are informed first of forthcoming Wetlab courses and a record kept of their attendance of the courses.
