Tissue Supply
The tissue we use at WETLAB is a bi-product derived from healthy animals which are intended for human consumption. Humanely slaughtered in EEC approved abattoirs in accordance with all EEC regulations.
We do not use live animals and do not support animal research.
All tissue is removed with care to avoid damage and contamination.
We are able to supply biological material for:
- Liver / Gallbladder / Cystic ducts for LAP-CHOLE courses
- Hind feet / Tendons for basic suturing /repairs
- Hearts with and without pericardium
- Hearts for valve repair and replacement
- Hearts for ablation training
Aortas /Carotid Arteries for Vascular workshops- Kidney / Ureter – Bladder / Ureter for Urology workshops
- Large bowel / Colon Rectum
- Small bowel with mesentery
- Stomach / Oesophagus – Duodeum
- Tracheas for Airway Management
- Fresh eyes for research and laser work
- Thorax with Chamois for A.T.L.S. Training
- Crycothyrotomy Trainers for Airway Management
- Spines and chest walls
